The invention discloses a tunnel traffic flow detection system and method based on a YOLOv8 algorithm, the system comprehensively utilizes an existing monitoring camera to analyze video stream data of the monitoring camera, and based on the YOLOv8 algorithm, the phenomena of missed judgment and misjudgment are inevitably caused when the video stream data are analyzed through the algorithm due to dim light in a tunnel, so that the traffic flow detection accuracy is improved. In order to eliminate the conditions of repeated counting and missed counting, a conventional algorithm needs to be optimized and synchronously improved, continuous tracking of vehicles is realized by using a multi-target tracking algorithm based on Kalman filtering, and in addition, monitoring cameras in different sections in a tunnel can be subjected to comprehensive data analysis to obtain an average value. The influence of light and obstacles on an analysis result is reduced to the maximum extent, so that a result closest to real data is obtained.

    本发明公开了一种基于YOLOv8算法的隧道车流量检测系统及方法,该系统综合利用现有监控摄像头,对监控摄像头的视频流数据进行分析,且基于YOLOv8算法,考虑到隧道内因为光线昏暗,通过算法在分析视频流数据时难免会出现漏判、误判现象,为了消除重复计数和漏计的情况,需要对常规的算法层面优化同步提升,本发明使用基于卡尔曼滤波多目标跟踪算法来实现车辆的连续跟踪,另外可以在隧道内不同区段的监控摄像头进行综合数据分析取平均值。最大化的减少因为光线和障碍物对分析结果的影响,从而得到最接近真实数据的结果。
