The energy distribution method comprises the following steps that S1, the vehicle speed and the accelerator pedal opening degree of the hybrid vehicle are obtained; s2, the battery electric quantity of the hybrid vehicle is obtained, a power utilization strategy is set according to the battery electric quantity, and a vehicle speed threshold value and an accelerator pedal opening degree threshold value are corrected based on the power utilization strategy; s3, when the vehicle speed is smaller than the vehicle speed threshold value or the accelerator pedal opening degree is smaller than the accelerator pedal opening degree threshold value, the step S4 is executed; when the vehicle speed is larger than the vehicle speed threshold value and the accelerator pedal opening degree is larger than the accelerator pedal opening degree threshold value, the step S5 is executed; s4, the vehicle enters a pure electric mode, and the hybrid vehicle is driven by a motor to run; and S5, the vehicle enters a hybrid mode, and the hybrid vehicle is driven to run through simultaneous operation of the engine and the motor.
