The invention relates to the technical field of quay crane operation monitoring, and provides a quay crane operation safety early warning method and device, electronic equipment and a storage medium. The method comprises the following steps: performing video monitoring on a landside area in real time by controlling a plurality of cameras; and when it is monitored that the target object exists in the operation area shot by the camera, the current relative position of the target object and the lifting appliance is determined, and whether the lifting appliance is safely braked or not is determined based on the current relative position. Therefore, the operation risk on the quay crane can be quickly early warned, the probability of dangerous accidents is reduced, and the operation safety of the quay crane is improved.
