A semi-submersible foundation system for a wind turbine generator comprises stand columns, the stand columns are used for supporting a tower drum and the wind turbine generator, the stand columns comprise a main stand column, a secondary stand column I and a secondary stand column II, the main stand column, the secondary stand column I and the secondary stand column II are arranged to be a triangle, and the diameter of the main stand column is larger than that of the secondary stand column I and that of the secondary stand column II; a stand column deck section, a stand column transition section, a stand column standard section and a stand column anti-collision section are sequentially arranged on the main stand column, the secondary stand column I and the secondary stand column II, and a stand column apron board section is arranged below the stand column anti-collision section of the main stand column. The stand column deck section is used for being connected with a deck. The stand column anti-collision section is used for collision prevention. The diameter of the stand column standard section is D2, the diameter of the stand column anti-collision section is D3, and the relation that D3 is larger than or equal to D2 + 3m is met; the diameter of the stand column deck section is D1, the diameter of the stand column apron board section is D4, D1 > = D4 > = D2, and D1 > = D3; the ends, close to the tower drum, of the main stand column, the secondary stand column I and the secondary stand column II are connected through a deck, and the ends, away from the tower drum, of the main stand column, the secondary stand column I and the secondary stand column II are connected through buoys.
