The invention discloses a traffic condition intelligent monitoring system and method in an Internet of Vehicles environment, and the method comprises the steps: monitoring and collecting vehicle speed values of a plurality of vehicles in real time through road monitoring equipment, and introducing a data processing and analysis algorithm at a rear end to automatically carry out the time sequence collaborative analysis of the vehicle speed values; therefore, the traffic flow and the accident condition on the road can be judged without depending on the real-time feedback of a driver. Thus, automatic traffic condition monitoring can be achieved, active feedback of a driver is not needed, influence caused by wrong information input by the driver is avoided, the traffic condition can be accurately monitored in real time in the mode, and effective support is provided for traffic management and travel planning.
