The invention provides a vibration monitoring robot for an engineering structure, a monitoring system and a monitoring method. The vibration monitoring robot comprises a robot body, an acceleration sensing element, a distance sensing element, a traveling mechanism and a telescopic mechanism. The acceleration sensing element is arranged on the bottom surface in the machine body; the distance sensing element is arranged on the front end surface in the machine body; the advancing mechanism is used for driving the body to walk; one end of the telescopic mechanism is connected with the machine body, and the other end of the telescopic mechanism is connected with the advancing mechanism. According to the application, the vibration acceleration response data of the engineering structure can be accurately obtained, and real-time environment mapping, environment mapping creation and self-position estimation can be realized; the vibration monitoring robot not only has the function of measuring the vibration acceleration response of an engineering structure, but also can realize the obstacle avoidance function in the advancing process through the distance measurement sensing element, and when natural disasters such as earthquakes and typhoons occur, an optimal evacuation route is planned, and effective evacuation guidance is provided for the public.
