The invention discloses a method for improving the pushing safety of an electric moped. The method comprises the following steps that S1, a motor driving controller detects the state of a pressure sensor of a vehicle seat; s2, when a driver sits on the saddle, the state of the pressure sensor is changed from disconnection to connection; s3, the on or off state of the saddle pressure sensor is transmitted to an electric appliance driving controller; and S4, when the pressure sensor of the saddle is in a disconnected state, the motor driving controller slows down the increasing speed of the control handle to the rotating speed of the motor through a software algorithm, so that the acceleration of the vehicle is reduced to a state in which the vehicle pusher can completely respond and control. When a person leaves the saddle, the pressure sensor outputs a disconnection state to the motor controller, and at the moment, the increasing speed of the control handle to the rotating speed of the motor is slowed down through a software algorithm of the motor controller, so that the acceleration of the vehicle is reduced to the state that the person who pushes the vehicle can completely respond and control, and out-of-control accidents caused by too fast and disordered movement are prevented; and the safety when the vehicle is pushed is ensured.
