The embodiment of the invention provides a motor vehicle suspended obstacle detection method and device and a computer readable storage medium. The method comprises the following steps of: respectively acquiring first distance data and second distance data which are correspondingly generated when a first ultrasonic radar and a second ultrasonic radar which are arranged up and down at a preset height difference are used for detecting obstacles in front of the driving direction of the motor vehicle; and calculating an actual distance difference value between the second distance data and the first distance data, when the actual distance difference value is greater than a preset difference value threshold value, marking an obstacle detected by the first ultrasonic radar as a suspended obstacle, and determining the first distance data as a first actual distance of the suspended obstacle relative to the motor vehicle. According to the embodiment, when the actual distance difference is larger than the preset difference threshold value, namely, the suspended obstacle with the thickness larger than the preset difference threshold value exists in front of the driving direction of the motor vehicle, the first actual distance between the suspended obstacle and the motor vehicle is the first distance data, and detection and recognition of the suspended obstacle are achieved when the light condition is poor.

    本发明实施例提供一种机动车悬空障碍物检测方法、装置及计算机可读存储介质,所述方法包括以下步骤:分别获取以预定高度差上下排列的第一超声波雷达和第二超声波雷达探测机动车行驶方向前方的障碍物并对应生成的第一距离数据和第二距离数据;计算第二距离数据与第一距离数据的实际距离差值,当实际距离差值大于预设差值阈值,将第一超声波雷达探测到的障碍物标记为悬空障碍物,将第一距离数据确定为悬空障碍物相对机动车的第一实际距离。本实施例实际距离差大于预设差值阈值时,即机动车行驶方向前方存在厚度大于预设差值阈值的悬空障碍物,悬空障碍物与机动车之间的第一实际距离即为第一距离数据,在光线条件较差时实现悬空障碍物的检测识别。
