According to the technical scheme disclosed by the invention, under the condition that the lane information is complex and the drivable area is difficult to determine only by the road edge in the electronic map, the lane elements with similar effects on determining the drivable area can be fused, so that the lane information is simplified, an automatic driving vehicle is helped to determine the drivable area more accurately and quickly, and the driving efficiency is improved. The driving safety is ensured.

    本公开提供了一种车辆可行驶区域的识别方法和电子设备,涉及自动驾驶技术领域。具体实现方案为:在目标车辆的一侧存在多个车道信息的情况下,确定多个车道信息所对应的多个车道元素间的位置关系;若多个车道元素间的位置关系为平行且相互间的平均横向偏移量小于第一阈值,则将多个车道元素融合为目标车道线。根据本公开的技术方案,可以在车道信息复杂、仅靠电子地图中的道路边沿难以确定可行驶区域的情况下的情况下,将对确定可行驶区域的作用近似的车道元素融合,进而简化车道信息,帮助自动驾驶车辆更加准确、快速地确定可行驶区域,保障驾驶安全。
