Whether automatic emergency braking is needed or not is judged according to the calibrated deceleration corresponding to the current vehicle speed and the expected deceleration at the current time, and the calibrated deceleration corresponding to the current vehicle speed and the expected deceleration at the current time both change along with the state change of the vehicle. According to the method, the automatic emergency braking is determined to be started according to the real-time state of the vehicle, so that the starting of the automatic emergency braking is more accurate.
