Two round steel stop levers are vertically welded and fixed on the bottom surface of the U-shaped channel steel; the round steel stop levers are symmetrically arranged along the center of the bottom surface of the U-shaped channel steel; the height H of the corner protection groove is the sum of the steel plate containing layer number and the steel plate allowable gap value set according to the steel wire rope stress limitation. The steel wire rope corner protector for lifting the railway wagon tank plate can effectively prevent the steel wire rope from being in contact with the edge of the tank plate, and the steel wire rope is limited to move in the corner protector; according to the thickness and the weight of the tank plates, the height of the steel wire rope corner protection groove is designed, and overloading fracture of a hoisting steel wire rope caused by excessive stacking of the tank plates is prevented; the steel wire rope corner protector integrates multiple purposes, and is convenient to manufacture and use, small, flexible and efficient; and medium-thickness plates such as tank plates and the like can be transferred together.
