The elevator landing door self-closing device with the running abnormity detection function comprises a door head assembly, a heavy hammer guide groove, a heavy hammer and a heavy hammer steel wire rope, the heavy hammer guide groove is formed in a door plate, and the heavy hammer is arranged in the heavy hammer guide groove in a sliding mode and can move up and down in the heavy hammer guide groove; the device is characterized in that the device further comprises a tension sensor installed in the door head assembly, one end of the heavy hammer steel wire rope is connected with the tension sensor, and the other end of the heavy hammer steel wire rope is connected with a heavy hammer; the tension sensor transmits a signal to an elevator control system through a data line, and when the tension value measured by the tension sensor is smaller than the range set by the counter weight and the holding time exceeds the time threshold set by the elevator control system, the elevator stops running.
