The invention discloses an energy absorption structure of a railway vehicle, the energy absorption structure comprises a conduction part, a first energy absorption device and a second energy absorption device, the conduction part can retreat along with a coupler seat, the first energy absorption device is fixedly connected in front of an airtight wall at the front end of a vehicle body and is fixedly connected with the coupler seat, and the second energy absorption device is fixedly connected with the airtight wall. The second energy absorption device is located behind the airtight wall at the front end of the vehicle body and located behind the conduction component, so that the conduction component can abut against the second energy absorption device to absorb collision energy in the retreating process. The energy absorption structure has the large energy absorption capacity, sufficient arrangement space can be reserved for the cowcatcher and the opening and closing mechanism, only the first energy absorption device or the first energy absorption device and the second energy absorption device can be selected to be arranged at the same time, and therefore the use flexibility is high.
