The invention relates to a multi-mode dual-clutch power system based on dual-clutch switching for a tractor and a control method, the multi-mode dual-clutch power system comprises an engine, an ISG motor, a torsion damper, a PTO transmission mechanism, a dual-clutch switcher and a speed change mechanism, and an output shaft of the engine is connected with the ISG motor, the torsion damper, the PTO transmission mechanism and the dual-clutch power switcher in sequence and then is connected with the speed change mechanism; therefore, the multi-mode dual-clutch power system for dual-clutch switching of the tractor is formed. By arranging a first clutch mechanism and a second clutch mechanism, an engine enters a working state, a driving motor enters a non-working state, the first clutch mechanism is in a first state, the second clutch mechanism is in a fourth state, power transmission is conducted between a first transmission shaft and a third transmission shaft, and no power transmission is conducted between a second transmission shaft and the third transmission shaft; the engine is powered, transmission of the third transmission shaft to the second transmission shaft is avoided, power loss caused by rotation of a rotor of the driving motor is avoided, fuel economy is effectively improved, and emission is reduced.
