The invention discloses a hoisting device and method for steel truss girder segments of a steel truss girder cable-stayed bridge. The hoisting device comprises a bridge deck crane, a guide rail, a girder transporting trolley, a fixed frame and a movable frame, and a hoisting mechanism is arranged on a cantilever frame of the bridge deck crane; the guide rails are arranged at the bottoms of the steel truss girder sections and are spliced at the bottom of the steel truss girder main body 2 to form a sliding track; the beam transporting trolley is connected to the sliding rail in a sliding mode, the movable frame is in an equilateral triangle shape, the three corners of the movable frame serve as a first connecting point, a second connecting point and a third connecting point respectively, the first connecting point is hinged to the lower end of the fixed frame, the second connecting point is hinged to the upper surface of the steel truss section, and the third connecting point is connected with a traction rope of the hoisting mechanism; the initial positions of the first connecting point and the second connecting point are both located on the vertical extension line of the fixing frame, the initial position of the third connecting point is located under the hoisting mechanism, and the hoisting device has the effect of improving the convenience, smoothness and stability of segmental beam hoisting construction.
