The invention discloses a thermal jet device and method for controlling underwater airfoil flow-induced noise, and relates to the field of acoustic measurement. The problem existing in traditional flow-induced noise is solved. In the direction from an inflow end to an outflow end, a heating tank is sequentially connected with an inflow pipe, an inflow ball valve, a thermal jet tank and a jet ball valve and then connected into a jet pipe, an outlet of the jet pipe is connected with a temperature sensor and a flow meter, the bottom of the thermal jet tank is connected with a driving motor through a steel wire lever, and the driving motor is connected with a motor driving controller. And finally, water is ejected from the trailing edge area of the underwater airfoil. The thermal jet not only supplements momentum for the boundary layer, but also changes the viscosity of water by using temperature, so that the flow field can be further stabilized, and the acoustic stealth performance of the underwater vehicle with the wing-shaped structure is effectively improved.
