The present invention relates to a regenerative braking power generation system for a trailer, which is capable of generating electricity required by the trailer by providing a generator in a brake disc space of the trailer, and which comprises: at least one axle (3) fixed to a chassis of the trailer; a hub (5) and/or a brake disc (6) arranged axially outside the axle (3) by means of a plurality of bearings (4) and rotating passively; a space part (7) formed in one side surface of the brake disc (6) in a recessed manner; a permanent magnet (8) which is closely attached to and fixed to the inner peripheral surface of the space section (7) and which rotates in accordance with the brake disc (6); and a generator stator (9) fixed to the outer peripheral surface of the axle (3) corresponding to the permanent magnet (8). Alternating current generated by the generator (10) can be converted into direct current by a rectifying unit (20) comprising a plurality of full-wave diodes (D1), (D2), (D3), (D4), (D5) and (D6) and a smoothing capacitor (C), then charged by a charging control unit (30) to a rechargeable battery (secondary battery) or a battery (40), and then supplied to a DC (direct current) load (50), and the power source of the battery (40) is converted into alternating current of 50-60 Hz by an inverter (60) and then supplied to an AC (alternating current) load (70).
