The invention relates to a control method for intelligent switching of driving modes. The control method comprises the following steps that S1, the initial driving mode of a vehicle is obtained; s2, detecting whether real-time road condition information of the vehicle can be obtained or not; if yes, real-time road condition information of the vehicle is obtained, and the step S5 is executed; if not, entering the step S3; s3, detecting whether a driving mode switching command from a cab is received or not; if so, entering step S6; if not, entering the step S4; s4, collecting the driving state information of the vehicle, and entering the step S5; s5, according to the real-time road condition information or the driving state information, whether the vehicle meets the switching condition of the driving mode or not is judged; if yes, entering step S6; if not, driving according to the original driving mode; s6, executing a switching action of the driving mode; the invention further provides a control method for intelligent switching of the driving modes. The whole vehicle adopting the control method has the advantages of dynamic property and economical efficiency on the premise of meeting safety and reliability.
