One aspect of the disclosure relates to a route flight plan making method, comprising: receiving an initial flight plan, the initial flight plan comprising a start point, an end point, and one or more consecutive routes therebetween; determining whether the intersection point of every two adjacent airways in each group is unique or not in the one or more airways; if not, combining a plurality of route trends based on each possible intersection point of each group of pairwise routes with non-unique intersection points; calculating and determining the route trend with the shortest distance among the combined plurality of route trends, wherein the route trend with the shortest distance comprises selected intersection points determined for each group of pairwise routes with non-unique intersection points; and determining a final flight plan based on the route trend with the shortest distance.
