The air conditioner main unit comprises an expansion tank, a heat exchanger, a plurality of gas-liquid separators and a pressure reduction pipeline. The expansion tank is used for storing the high-pressure gas-phase secondary refrigerant; the heat exchanger is used for converting a high-pressure gas-phase secondary refrigerant into a first low-temperature liquid-phase secondary refrigerant, the gas-liquid separators are used for storing liquid-phase secondary refrigerants with different evaporation temperatures and carrying out cascade cold accumulation, and the pressure reduction pipeline is arranged between every two gas-liquid separators and used for converting the first low-temperature liquid-phase secondary refrigerant stored in the first gas-liquid separator into a second low-temperature liquid-phase secondary refrigerant stored in the second gas-liquid separator and carrying out cascade cold accumulation on the second low-temperature liquid-phase secondary refrigerant; and the control equipment is used for controlling the multiple gas-liquid separators to accumulate cold in a cascade mode. Through cascade cold storage, different refrigeration requirements of users can be met, the liquid-phase secondary refrigerants with different evaporation temperatures are prepared and released when power is insufficient, and the electric charge expenditure is saved.
