The invention provides a mileage prediction method and device for a new energy vehicle. The method comprises the following steps: in the driving process of a target vehicle, determining driving data and vehicle condition data of the target vehicle and user portrait data of a current user; according to the driving data, determining a driving mode of the target vehicle, and determining power consumption reference data corresponding to the driving mode; determining corresponding adjustment parameters according to the vehicle condition data and the user portrait data; determining a current predicted power consumption value of the target vehicle according to the power consumption reference data and the adjustment parameters; and determining the remaining mileage of the target vehicle according to the predicted power consumption value. According to the embodiment of the invention, multiple factors are comprehensively considered, so that the electric energy use condition of the new energy vehicle is reflected more accurately. And meanwhile, intelligentization and dynamic prediction of the mileage of the new energy vehicle are realized, real-time mileage estimation is ensured, and a driver is helped to better plan the journey.
