The invention relates to a vehicle battery charging control method and a battery management system. The method comprises the following steps: controlling an air heater to heat a battery; determining a low-temperature area of the battery; and controlling the battery management system to increase the charging current of at least one battery cell in the low-temperature area. According to the method, the air heater is controlled to heat the battery, some positions of the battery cannot be well heated in the battery heating process of the air heater, so that a low-temperature area is formed, the low-temperature area of the battery is determined, the charging current of at least one battery cell in the low-temperature area is controlled to be increased, and the temperature of the battery cell in the low-temperature area is increased. According to the invention, the battery cells which are not fully heated by the hot-air blower can be heated, and each battery cell in the battery can be uniformly heated through the matching of the hot-air blower and the self-heating of the battery cells, so that the battery can quickly reach and keep a normal charging temperature, and the charging efficiency of the battery in a low-temperature environment is further improved.

    本发明涉及车用电池充电控制方法及电池管理系统,包括如下步骤:控制热风机加热电池;确定所述电池的低温区域;控制电池管理系统增大所述低温区域内的至少一个电芯的充电电流。控制热风机加热电池,在热风机加热电池过程中,电池的一些位置无法很好地加热,从而形成低温区域,确定所述电池的低温区域,并控制增大所述低温区域内的至少一个电芯的充电电流,从而增加低温区域的电芯的温度,这样,即可为没有被热风机充分加热的电芯进行加热,通过热风机和电芯自加热的配合,能够为电池内部的各个电芯均匀加热,从而让电池更快地达到并保持正常的充电温度,进而提高低温环境时电池的充电效率。
