The shear fork type aerial work platform comprises a shear fork lifting device and a lifting device, wherein the shear fork lifting device comprises a plurality of fork frame units stacked in the vertical direction; the lifting oil cylinder is used for driving the shear fork lifting device to rise and unfold or contract and fold in the vertical direction; the limiting switch is arranged close to the lifting oil cylinder and is used for detecting the telescopic state of the fork frame unit adjacent to the lifting oil cylinder; and the oil cylinder detection element is used for acquiring the working condition state of the lifting oil cylinder. According to the scissor type aerial work platform, the sensitivity of state detection of the fork frame unit can be improved.
