The invention relates to the technical field of hoisting equipment, in particular to an anti-swing device and an adjusting method thereof, and the anti-swing device comprises an anti-swing structure and a sleeve structure; the anti-swing structure is mounted on a cross beam of the crane, and a blocking piece is arranged in the anti-swing structure and is used for limiting the descending height of the anti-swing structure; one end of the sleeve structure is connected to the anti-swing structure, the other end of the sleeve structure is connected to the crane lifting appliance, and a pulling and hanging piece is arranged in the sleeve structure and used for controlling the extending height of the sleeve structure. The anti-swing device ensures that the crane has a rigid anti-swing function and a micro-amplitude adjustment function during operation, can swing slightly only when a lifting appliance descends to a low position and is aligned with a lifted object, and is simple in structure, convenient to manufacture, clear in principle, good in effect and high in practicability. In addition, due to the pure mechanical characteristic, the overall manufacturing cost is low, and certain economical efficiency is achieved.
