The invention belongs to the technical field of pilot control device design, and particularly relates to an accelerator platform control system and method based on a motor. The rotating speed sensor is used for collecting motor rotating speed signals; the current sensor collects the control current of the motor; the accelerator platform controller comprises a position ring, a speed ring, a current ring and a driving circuit which are connected in sequence; the position loop generates a speed instruction according to a position instruction of an upper computer and a throttle lever position signal, the speed loop generates a current instruction according to the speed instruction and a rotating speed signal, the current loop generates PWM waves according to the current instruction and collected motor control current, and the drive circuit generates control current according to the PWM waves to control the motor; the throttle lever is controlled through the motor; in the automatic mode, the accelerator platform controller controls the position ring to be connected with the speed ring; in the manual mode, the accelerator platform controller controls the position ring to be disconnected from the speed ring, and the speed instruction received by the speed ring is zero.
