The invention relates to a pressure reducing valve, a control method used for the pressure reducing valve and a braking system, and relates to the technical field of valve switches, the pressure reducing valve comprises a guide sleeve, the guide sleeve is provided with a movable cavity and a valve hole communicated with the movable cavity, an armature and static iron are movably arranged in the movable cavity, the static iron is used for limiting the armature, and an elastic piece is arranged between the armature and the static iron; the magnet assembly is fixedly arranged on the guide sleeve, and the magnet assembly is configured to generate a magnetic field in a power-on state to promote the armature to move in the direction away from the valve hole so as to open the valve hole; the armature is configured in the mode that when the magnet assembly is in a power-off state, the elastic piece pushes the armature to move towards the direction close to the valve hole so as to close the valve hole. The pressing ring and the magnet assembly are arranged on the guide sleeve in a separated mode, and the pressing ring is provided with a part at least used for extending a magnetic field magnetic line closed loop in the direction of the valve hole. The problem that in the prior art, a magnetic field generated after a valve coil is powered on is low in coverage rate in the whole moving process of an armature is solved.
