The invention relates to an isolating valve, a control method for the isolating valve and a braking system, and relates to the technical field of valve switches, the isolating valve comprises a guide sleeve, the guide sleeve is provided with a movable cavity and a valve hole communicated with the movable cavity, an armature and static iron used for limiting the armature are movably arranged in the movable cavity, and a first elastic piece is arranged between the armature and the static iron; the valve element is elastically connected with the armature through a second elastic piece; the magnet assembly is fixed to the guide sleeve, and the magnet assembly is configured to generate a magnetic field in a power-on state to promote the valve element to move in the direction away from the valve hole so as to open the valve hole; the valve core is configured to move towards the direction close to the valve hole in a power-off state so as to close the valve hole; the pressing ring and the magnet assembly are arranged on the guide sleeve in a separated mode, and the pressing ring is provided with a part at least used for extending a magnetic field magnetic line closed loop in the direction of the valve hole. The problem that in the prior art, a magnetic field generated after a valve coil is powered on is low in coverage rate in the whole moving process of an armature is solved.
