The power battery locomotive control system comprises a central control unit, a first switch and a second switch, wherein the first switch is connected with the second switch; the first switch is also connected with a central control unit, a remote input and output unit I-1, a remote input and output unit II, a first display screen unit, a first traction control unit, a first auxiliary control unit, a first battery management system and a second battery management system; and the second switch is also connected with a data recording unit, a remote input/output unit I-2, a second display screen unit, a second traction control unit, a second auxiliary control unit and a storage battery charger unit. High-real-time and high-reliability safe vehicle control is achieved, an advanced control strategy is adopted for a battery system, the energy consumption of the whole vehicle is calculated and displayed in real time, and it is ensured that the locomotive is more energy-saving in application.
