The invention provides a vehicle aerodynamic modification system and method. A vehicle system includes a plurality of flaps engaged with a cargo bed wall of a cargo bed. The plurality of flaps are configured to telescopically move back and forth between a stowed position and a deployed position. The flaps may be disposed along a vertical top of the cargo bed wall. The flap may be slidably engaged with the cargo bed wall.
