The present invention relates to a photocatalyst device in which the size and weight are reduced by reducing the distance between a light source and a catalyst part while ensuring visible light irradiation over the entire range of the catalyst part, and the amount of visible light irradiated to the catalyst part is increased by appropriately processing the visible light of the light source, thereby reducing the size and weight of the device. Therefore, the photocatalytic activity in the catalyst part is improved. In order to achieve the above object, a photocatalyst device is provided that purifies air blown into the interior of a vehicle along an internal flow path of an air conditioner case by emitting superoxide radicals to the internal flow path while generating a photocatalytic reaction. The photocatalyst device includes: a photocatalyst body; a light source part installed in the photocatalyst body; a catalyst part mounted on the photocatalyst body to correspond to the light source part at a distance from the light source part, and causing a photocatalytic reaction in response to light emitted from the light source part; and a light processing section that processes light from the light source section so as to increase a light irradiation rate of the light source section with respect to the catalyst section.
