The embodiment of the invention provides a dangerous driving behavior detection method and system, and the method comprises the steps: obtaining the sight line state data of a driver, the sight line state data of the driver is determined through a first machine learning model, and the first machine learning model is used for determining the sight line state data related to the global motion and detailed motion of the driver; obtaining vehicle motion state data, wherein the vehicle motion state data comprises data related to the steering smoothness of the vehicle and/or data related to the safety of the vehicle following the front vehicle; based on the driver sight line state data and the vehicle motion state data, the dangerous driving condition of the driver is determined through a second machine learning model, and the dangerous driving condition comprises whether the driver has dangerous driving behaviors or not and/or the dangerous driving degree of the driver. According to the method, the driver sight line state data and the vehicle motion state data are combined, so that the accuracy and comprehensiveness of dangerous driving condition detection of the driver are improved.
