The invention discloses a single-stage three-port vehicle-mounted charger and a control method thereof. The vehicle-mounted charger comprises a controller, a matrix conversion circuit, a high-voltage side conversion circuit and a low-voltage side conversion circuit. Wherein the controller is used for calculating a first inner phase shift angle and a first outer phase shift angle of the high-voltage side conversion circuit, a second inner phase shift angle and a second outer phase shift angle of the low-voltage side conversion circuit, and a third inner phase shift angle and a third outer phase shift angle of the matrix conversion circuit; obtaining a first driving signal, a second driving signal and a third driving signal according to the first inner phase shift angle, the first outer phase shift angle, the second inner phase shift angle, the second outer phase shift angle, the third inner phase shift angle and the third outer phase shift angle respectively; and controlling the control loop impedance of the high-voltage side conversion circuit and the control loop impedance of the low-voltage side conversion circuit at the double power frequency according to the first driving signal, the second driving signal and the third driving signal. Through impedance remodeling of a control loop, low-voltage side current ripples caused by power fluctuation are reduced.
