The vehicle control method comprises the following steps: driving the vehicle entering a cruise control mode to run at a cruise target speed corresponding to the cruise control mode; when the vehicle entering the constant-speed cruise mode does not run at the cruise target speed, whether the torque strength output to a power system of the vehicle is larger than or equal to the preset torque strength or not is judged and lasts for preset time; and when it is judged that the torque intensity output to the power system of the vehicle is larger than or equal to the preset torque intensity and lasts for the preset time, the cruise target speed is changed into the current speed of the vehicle.
