In a pedal sense simulator (10), in particular for a vehicle brake system, having a piston (26) which is guided axially displaceably in a cylinder bore (16) against a spring force, according to the invention the piston (26) is designed as two parts consisting of a first piston part (54) and a second piston part (56), wherein the first piston portion (54) is adapted to be designed to be structurally identical in a plurality of pedal feel simulator types, and the second piston portion (56) is adapted to be designed to be at least one different axial dimension (78, 84) in a plurality of pedal feel simulator types.
