The invention relates to an S-type switching length calculation and dynamic speed limit control method in the reconstruction and extension period of an expressway, and belongs to the field of intelligent traffic. The method comprises the following steps: arranging a group of data acquisition facilities and outfield information issuing facilities in a matching manner before and after a switching position and at the upstream, acquiring traffic flow data of each lane and issuing a lane-level dynamic speed-limiting control strategy; a group of road surface environment detection facilities are arranged at the switching position, and the road surface environment condition and the real-time friction coefficient of each lane are obtained; inputting alignment conditions of a switching position and upstream and downstream roads and predicted traffic flow data in each time period in the future, simulating and comparing traffic operation conditions when different speed limit values are adopted for switching by utilizing simulation software, and determining an initial speed limit value of the switching position; inputting alignment conditions and initial speed limit values of a switching position and upstream and downstream roads, outputting an opening length design value by using a switching opening length calculation method, and calculating a design speed limit value of the switching position; and dynamically adjusting the speed limit value at the S-shaped switching position in combination with a real-time lane-level road surface friction coefficient or traffic emergencies.

    本发明涉及一种高速公路改扩建期S型切换长度计算及动态限速控制方法,属于智能交通领域。该方法包括在切换处前后及上游配套设置一组数据采集设施及外场信息发布设施,获取各车道交通流数据及发布车道级动态限速控制策略;在切换处设置一组路面环境检测设施,获取各车道路面环境状况及实时的摩擦系数;输入切换处及上下游道路线形条件和未来各时段预测交通流数据,利用仿真软件模拟对比切换采用不同限速值时的交通运行状况,确定切换处初定限速值;输入切换处及上下游道路线形条件和初定限速值,利用切换开口长度计算方法,输出开口长度设计值,计算切换处设计限速值;结合实时车道级路面摩擦系数或者交通突发事件,动态调整S型切换处的限速值。
