The invention relates to a suspension type crane steel ladder. The crane steel ladder comprises a platform and a ladder section, the platform is used for providing a site having a height difference with the crane; the ladder section is arranged on the platform and is used for providing a path from the platform to the crane; wherein the platform comprises a bearing part and a suspension part, the bearing part is arranged on the side, close to the ground, of the crane, and the suspension part is connected with the bearing part and a crane beam of the crane, so that the bearing part is suspended on the crane beam under the action of gravity. Due to the fact that the platform is hung on the crane beam, it is avoided that in the prior art, platform installation and fixing need to depend on cantilever columns or plant steel columns, and the construction cost is reduced. Meanwhile, the platform is suspended below the crane beam of the crane, so that the distance between the platform and the crane is very close, and the time for people to go up and down the crane is shortened.
