The invention discloses a method and device for predictive cruise control of an electric vehicle, electronic equipment, a vehicle and a computer readable medium. The method comprises the following steps: predefining a cruise speed and an optimal cruise requirement, determining possible speed trajectories of the vehicle on a road section ahead, and selecting the speed trajectory with the minimum cost function value from the possible speed trajectories as the optimal speed trajectory when the optimal cruise requirement is met, the cost function comprises at least the following cost factors: a vehicle energy consumption function and a driving time function, and taking the optimal speed trajectory as a target speed trajectory for predictive cruise control of the electric vehicle, characterized in that the electric energy consumption of the electric vehicle is converted into an equivalent fuel consumption, a vehicle energy consumption function is calculated with the equivalent fuel consumption. According to the method, an existing predictive cruise control method for an internal combustion engine vehicle can be transferred to an electric vehicle with the minimum modification cost.
