A railway electronic fence protection system implementation method based on 4G/5G comprises the steps that Web management software customizes an electronic fence according to a locomotive operation line provided with a locomotive station or the operation position of a handheld terminal, and a cloud server stores an electronic fence database; the locomotive station and the handheld terminal report state information to the cloud server regularly; the web management software displays the state information on a map page of the user management terminal, the online state of the locomotive station or the handheld terminal is judged according to an icon through the last update time for reporting the state information, and the position of the locomotive station or the handheld terminal is displayed in real time; the cloud server compares the longitude and latitude with the longitude and latitude of the locomotive station or the handheld terminal through the electronic fence, and sends alarm information to the locomotive station or the handheld terminal which is not in the specified range of the electronic fence, and a manager carries out command scheduling and alarm handling. Railway electronic fence arrangement is achieved, and safety protection for operation of railway locomotives and construction workers is improved.
