The invention provides a method for improving thermal runaway of a ternary lithium battery. According to the method, the use interval of the electric quantity of a battery cell of the ternary lithium battery is limited to be 0-(80-90)% SOC. According to the method, thermal runaway of the battery cell under the external heating extreme condition is improved by adjusting the use interval of the ternary lithium battery cell, and the thermal runaway temperature of the battery cell can be increased under the condition that the output capacity is the same.

    本发明提供一种改善三元锂电池热失控的方法,所述方法是将三元锂电池的电芯电量使用区间限定为0~(80‑90)%SOC。本申请通过调整三元锂电池电芯使用区间,改善了电芯在外部加热极端条件下发生的热失控,在输出容量相同的情况下,本申请的方法能够提高电芯的热失控温度。
