The satellite exterior component comprises an expandable extension rod mechanism, and the expandable extension rod mechanism comprises a first winding drum type extension rod mechanism, a second winding drum type extension rod mechanism, a third winding drum type extension rod mechanism and a fourth winding drum type extension rod mechanism which are respectively mounted on the bottom plate, the negative Z side plate, the top plate and the positive Z side plate; and four electric field detector probes are respectively arranged at the tail ends of the first winding drum type extension rod mechanism, the second winding drum type extension rod mechanism, the third winding drum type extension rod mechanism and the fourth winding drum type extension rod mechanism. Through reasonable installation layout, the layout requirement of a space ionosphere detection satellite is met.
