The walking vehicle with the multi-gear speed regulation function is provided with a left middle shaft and a right middle shaft which can rotate independently, and the two ends of the two middle shafts are each provided with a pedal device. Two groups of transmission mechanisms are arranged between the two groups of pedal devices and the driving wheel shaft; each transmission mechanism comprises a ratchet wheel fixedly connected to the driving wheel shaft, a rope winding ring hinged to the driving wheel shaft, a fixed pulley arranged above the swing track of the free end of the foot rest lever, a winding rope connected between the rope winding ring and the free end of the foot rest lever through the fixed pulley, and a reset device connected between the rope winding ring and the frame. A speed regulating mechanism is arranged at the free end of the foot rest lever and comprises a sliding rail arranged at the free end of the foot rest lever, a sliding pipe connected to the sliding rail in a sleeving mode and a positioning switch used for positioning the sliding pipe at different gears of the sliding rail. Manual cooperation is not needed during gear shifting, and the gear shifting procedure can be automatically completed only by lightly shifting the shifting rod from the inner side of the sole; the speed regulating device is easy to operate and simple and durable in structure, and particularly, riding resistance cannot be additionally increased.
