The invention discloses a thermal management system which comprises a compressor and a first valve assembly, and the first valve assembly can enable an outlet of the compressor to directly communicate with an inlet of the compressor; the first valve assembly comprises a first valve piece and a second valve piece, the first valve piece and the second valve piece are connected between an outlet of the compressor and an inlet of the compressor in series, and the first valve piece and the second valve piece both have a throttling state. When the heat management system is in a certain working mode, the first valve assembly can enable the outlet of the compressor to directly communicate with the inlet of the compressor, air supplementing and enthalpy increasing are achieved, the first valve piece and/or the second valve piece are/is in the throttling state and used for ensuring the pressure difference, and energy is saved by means of the characteristic that the energy efficiency of the compressor is high. The invention further provides a control method of the energy-saving thermal management system.
