The present invention relates to a power storage device capable of making a battery less susceptible to malfunctions. A power storage device according to one embodiment of the present invention is provided with: a first storage battery; a first flow path through which a cooling medium flows to the first battery; a connector that connects the first battery to a power device of an external device having a power device and a second flow path through which a cooling medium flows, and that connects the first flow path and the second flow path such that the first flow path and the second flow path constitute a circulation flow path; a pump which is provided in the first flow path and controls the flow rate and the flow direction of the cooling medium; and a control unit that controls the operation of the pump. The control unit switches the direction in which the cooling medium flows a plurality of times after the first flow path and the second flow path are connected to each other by means of a connector.

    本发明涉及能够使蓄电池难以发生不良情况的蓄电装置。本发明的一实施方式的蓄电装置具备:第一蓄电池;第一流路,使冷却介质流动至第一蓄电池;连接器,将第一蓄电池与具有电力装置及使冷却介质流动的第二流路的外部装置的电力装置连接,并且将第一流路与第二流路连接使得第一流路及第二流路构成循环流路;泵,设置于第一流路,控制冷却介质的流量及流动的方向;以及控制部,控制泵的工作。在第一流路及第二流路借助连接器相互连接之后,上述控制部将冷却介质流动的方向切换多次。
