The invention relates to a traffic light duration adjusting method and device, equipment and a medium. The method comprises the steps of detecting traffic flow of a lane; judging whether the traffic flow is smaller than a preset traffic flow threshold value or not, wherein the traffic flow threshold value is the traffic flow passing within the preset green light duration of the lane; if yes, predicting the pedestrian flow of the pedestrian crosswalk of the lane, and adjusting the traffic light duration of the lane and the pedestrian crosswalk based on the pedestrian flow and the traffic flow; and if not, adopting the preset traffic light duration of the lane and the pedestrian crossing. Under the condition that the traffic flow is smaller than the preset traffic flow threshold value, the traffic light duration of the lane and the pedestrian crosswalk is adjusted based on the predicted pedestrian flow of the pedestrian crosswalk and the current traffic flow, unnecessary waiting time of pedestrians and vehicles can be shortened, and the traffic efficiency is improved.

    本公开涉及一种红绿灯时长调节方法、装置、设备及介质。该方法包括:检测车道的车流量;判断车流量是否小于预设的车流量阈值,车流量阈值为在车道预设的绿灯时长内通过的车流量;若是,则预测车道的人行横道的人流量,并基于人流量和车流量调节车道和人行横道的红绿灯时长;若否,则采用车道和人行横道预设的红绿灯时长。本公开通过在车流量小于预设的车流量阈值的情况下,基于人行横道预测的人流量和当前的车流量调节车道和人行横道的红绿灯时长,可以减少行人和车辆不必要的等待时间,提高交通通行效率。
