The invention discloses a magneto-rheological hydraulic bushing, a control method thereof and an automobile, the magneto-rheological hydraulic bushing comprises a first hydraulic cavity, a second hydraulic cavity and a first channel, the first hydraulic cavity and the second hydraulic cavity are separated, the first channel communicates with the first hydraulic cavity and the second hydraulic cavity, and magneto-rheological liquid is arranged in the first hydraulic cavity and the second hydraulic cavity; the hydraulic system further comprises a magnetic field control component, the magnetic field control component is provided with a second channel with a controllable magnetic field, and the second channel is communicated with the first hydraulic cavity and the second hydraulic cavity. The opening degree of the second channel is controlled through the solid-liquid conversion characteristic of the magnetorheological fluid, then the optimal dynamic stiffness and damping characteristic under different automobile running working conditions are achieved, large damping under the low-frequency and large-amplitude condition and low dynamic stiffness under the medium-high-frequency and small-amplitude condition can be considered at the same time, and therefore the vibration reduction purpose is achieved.
