The invention provides a speed-adjustable rudder balancing method and system. A rudder trim system may include: a control device; the force sensing balancing device is coupled with the control device; the pedal device is coupled with the control device and the force sensing trimming device and is configured to provide a pedal position for the control device; a trim control panel coupled with the control device and configured to provide a trim rate and trim actuation signals to the control device; wherein the control device is configured to, in response to receiving a trim actuation signal, generate a trim command based on a pedal position and a trim rate and provide the trim command to the force sensitive trim device, the trim command indicating the trim rate and a trim force that matches a force required to place the pedal device in the pedal position, wherein the force sensing balancing device generates balancing force for the pedal device according to the balancing speed based on the balancing instruction. According to the rudder balancing system disclosed by the invention, the rudder balancing with the adjustable speed is realized by utilizing the knob switch.
