The invention discloses a center pin bush and a transverse and longitudinal rigidity anisotropic design method thereof, and the design method is characterized in that an inner sleeve is additionally arranged in a pin seat, the inner circumferential surface of the inner sleeve is elliptical, a free gap is formed between the inner sleeve and a center pin along the long axis direction of the inner sleeve, and the inner sleeve and the center pin are in clearance fit along the short axis direction of the inner sleeve; the long axis direction is consistent with the transverse direction, and the short axis direction is consistent with the longitudinal direction; when the locomotive tractor normally runs in a straight line, the center pin is in contact with the inner sleeve in the longitudinal direction to form longitudinal rigidity to transmit traction force or braking force; when a locomotive tractor turns into a large bend and a slow bend, the center pin can move in the free gap in the transverse direction, and when a locomotive body turns into a small bend and a sharp bend, the center pin can eliminate the free gap and then make contact with the inner sleeve to form transverse rigidity. A rubber layer is arranged in the inner sleeve, and the rubber layer adopts a non-equal thickness design, so that the transverse rigidity formed by the contact of the center pin and the inner sleeve is greater than the longitudinal rigidity formed by the contact of the center pin and the inner sleeve.
