The invention belongs to the technical field of drive-by-wire chassis control, and particularly relates to a multi-degree-of-freedom drive-by-wire chassis redundancy and safety control system which comprises a drive-by-wire chassis controller and a drive-by-wire chassis system. The drive-by-wire chassis system comprises a drive-by-wire steering system, a drive-by-wire braking system, a drive-by-wire driving system and a drive-by-wire suspension system; according to the invention, the fault condition of the chassis system is accurately judged through the diagnosis and grading strategy of the system full-state information fusion, the advantages and characteristics of the chassis layout are utilized, and a dual-control system monitoring mode and a redundancy and safety control mechanism of a composite part assembly are adopted; the problem that interruption or failure is caused by the fact that tasks are affected in a fault or abnormal state is solved. Through complementary advantages of hardware layout and software strategy of each system of the chassis, fault information is diagnosed, decided and controlled, and a high-safety and strong-continuity integrated system for pure electric drive-by-wire chassis layout, communication and information control and judgment is established.
