The invention relates to a wearable self-induction underwater propeller and a propelling method, and belongs to the field of underwater propelling control. The wearable self-induction underwater thruster comprises a control box, leg wearing equipment and an underwater thruster, wherein the control box is used for controlling the thruster; the leg wearing equipment integrates an attitude sensor and a propeller fixing frame, and the attitude sensor is connected with a waterproof line of the control box; the underwater propeller is fixed to the leg wearing device at the thigh and connected with the control box through a waterproof line. The leg movement frequency, amplitude and attitude angle are collected and serve as input signals, the output power of the propeller is controlled, and the flexibility of the wearable propeller is improved; by reasonably planning the positions of the microcontroller, the underwater thruster and the attitude sensor, a power supply is integrated in the thruster, and control devices such as keys are integrated at the microcontroller, so that the wearing and structural complexity is reduced. The problem that the two hands are not completely liberated in an existing scheme for replacing a handheld propeller is solved.
