The invention belongs to the field of pedestrian transportation in coal mine roadways, and particularly discloses a mining roadside intelligent pedestrian transportation system which comprises a track arranged at the top of a roadway, an advancing device is slidably connected to the lower portion of the track and provides power through a driving device connected to the lower portion of the advancing device, and an automatic loading and unloading device is separately connected to the lower portion of the driving device. The automatic getting-on and getting-off device comprises a passenger car and a propelling mechanism used for separating/connecting the passenger car and the driving device, and the intelligent people transporting system further comprises an intelligent distribution system which is used for dispatching the passenger car and automatically navigating a route according to an instruction. According to the intelligent people transporting system, pedestrians can be transported to any designated position of an underground roadway through the track arranged at the top of the roadway, time and a route can be appointed, the defect that other operations cannot be carried out when people are transported in the roadway is overcome through the automatic getting-on and getting-off device, and the intelligent people transporting system has the advantages of being high in safety, high in intelligence and high in labor efficiency.
